we planted 2 cherry trees 3 or 4 years ago and have never had any fruit, I just figured they weren't fruit bearing trees. this year i was pleasantly surprised when they both were loaded with blossoms, then they got all these little green cherries!!! i can't wait to see what comes off these trees this year!
this is the second big bowl of strawberries I picked this year out of my garden and I picked another bowl just this afternoon! these also took a few years to totally take off. It's so much fun growing my own food!!

The beginning of June we headed down to Utah for an Air show, we thought Merrick would really love the planes! Jenny & Dave went with us since we knew Uncle Dave loves planes.

we got earplugs for the kids and they wouldn't wear them so they kept their fingers in their ears every time a plane went by...

we ended up not staying the entire day, we hadn't really planned all that well and i forgot the cooler of snacks. I'm not sure the kids would have lasted longer even with snacks... but it was fun and it was nice to get away, turns out it rained all day at home so it made it even better to be out in the sunshine!
