For the past 2 years I've been trying to get Merrick to let go of his training wheels! Partly because he had outgrown his little bike that had the training wheels and partly because I've always wanted to go on family bike rides. And I know it's faster when you're not being held up by those pesky little wheels!
When Merrick turned 7, back in November he said that "now he was 7, he'd be able to ride a 2 wheeler!"
So when spring break came I was determined to make that happen and he was on board with that too!
We spent every day, maybe just a few minutes working on it and by Friday he was good!
I'm looking forward to all the family bike rides this summer!!!
Merrick all proud of himself! I'm proud of him too!!!
