we woke up on the last Friday of February to snow.... lots and lots of snow!
........OK, not quite like the east coast kind of snow. but for us... who hasn't seen inches of snow since thanksgiving. this was great!!

Merrick wasted no time, and before Aubree was ready for school, he was dressed in his snow clothes and outside playing in it. it was still kinda dark at 7am, but he wasn't wasting any time. who knows?? with this crazy weather we've been having, it could have all melted by noon?!
we had around 5 inches!!
and it was still around on Saturday, so we could get some sledding in!! the first and only time we got to sled the yard this year!

Merrick did get to ride on the sled, but he was done when Dad was out with the camera.
